Frequently Asked.

The questions that I mostly get. You can find other questions here.

How do you make gifs?

I use aTube Catcher to download the video, I used do frame by frame screencaptures using Windows Movie Maker (WMM) and then I use Photoscape to edit and make the actual gif

Now that I have Photoshop (Cs5) I download the video with aTube Catcher and then I import the video (which makes the frames for me) and then I just.. make the gif from there. I don’t know how else to say it without giving a word for word tutorial.

What do you use to download (YouTube videos)?

aTube Catcher is the program I use to convert YouTube videos.

Do you have a personal blog?

My personal blog can be found here

Where did those gifs come from?

If you ever wonder about what video some gifs came from there are a few ways you could find out:

  1. Ask me! :) I’ll always know, answer and give you the link to the video from youtube (or wherever the video was posted).
  2. If you go into my quick find page and search for the tag/url address on where it came from, you’ll find the catagory of where it came from and sometimes the title is the same name as it is on YouTube. That sounds rather complicated, but it’s a way too look!
  3. Similar to number two, you can look at the tags. Since I try to keep these gifs are organized as possible, the tag for it has something to do with the type of video it came from. Sometimes it’s directly the YouTube video or somethings it’s just a little shortened (ex. “haven’t had enough bts = Haven’t Had Enough: Behind The Scenes).
  4. I’m also starting something new where I’ll put the url in the description and you can access it there without having to ask for it or search for it at all (Even though people still ask about it)…

Why is only part of a gif moving?

Using photoshop magic.. I can still certain parts of a gif so that way they don’t move and I can upload more frames. The tutorial can be found here.
